RALEIGH, NC (NCDOT) -— The NC Department of Transportation is seeking public input on the proposed final version of the State Transportation Improvement Plan. This plan lists all the projects that will use federal funds between now and 2016. NCDOT is required by the federal government to have a plan and receive public input on it.
NCDOT invites citizens in Brunswick, Duplin, New Hanover, Onslow, Pender and Sampson counties to share their thoughts at a public meeting on Wednesday, March 23 at James Sprunt Community College Auditorium, located at 133 James Sprunt Drive in Kenansville.
The meeting will begin at 4 p.m. with a brief presentation. After a question and answer period, citizens can speak directly with NCDOT staff and submit written comments. This process will be repeated until the meeting ends at 7 p.m.
